Our mission is to provide digital design to the masonic community.
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Christopher Kennedy and I am an active member of Gainesville #41 in Gainesville, FL. I have been a member of the A.A.S.R. in New York City since 2012 and I was also a dual member of Harry S. Truman #1066 of New York, NY for 5 years. I love going to lodge when I can make it and I often contribute my free time volunteering for the lodge. My grandfather would have been proud.
By trade I am a designer and developer. I have worked worked with powerful brands such as Google, Wine Spectator, Porsche, IBM, Coca-Cola, Spotify, Citi, Victoria's Secret, and MLB. I would like to use what I have learned so far to help give back to the masonic community. You can find out more about me on my website or LinkedIn.
Looking back at history, we have always designed incredible structures. When I am traveling I love visiting other lodges to check out all the details. It's amazing how much time went into building things back then, but sadly it seems that now we are lacking in the digital world. From my standpoint, 99% of the time how we represent ourselves online is appalling. As a community we are better than this.
My goal is for Majestic Square be in the forefront of cleaning up our digital presence. This is something that I have been planning for years. Not only do I want to make our websites look great, I also want to clean up the little things, such as the images of our working tools and other symbols. Can you tell me the last time you saw a Compass & Square that didn't look pixelated? Words mean less if they don't have actions behind them, so I already started working on some masonic resources for the community to use for free.
I would love to work on this project full-time and could use your help. Please share Majestic Square with your lodge and if you enjoy what I am trying to do you can always buy me a coffee.
